All curriculum at Windermere Elementary School is taught in English. 

Windermere Elementary collaborates with numerous community organizations to provide fee-based afterschool enrichment programs that cater to a wide range of educational and sports interests. Please get in touch with the school’s main office to get a current list of after-school offerings. 

Windermere Elementary provides a wide range of programs and supports for students needing additional enrichment or academic support. 

Windermere Elementary has an amazing PTO that supports a wide range of student and family engagement opportunities. Through the generosity of families and the community, the PTO can continue to enhance our school and provide additional educational enrichment opportunities for each grade level.

Since 1889, Windermere Elementary School has proudly served students in grades K-5 among the lakes and citrus groves of West Orange County. A dedicated and innovative faculty and staff guide Windermere Elementary School. The current school location opened in the early 1970s and was remodeled and expanded in the early 2000s. Windermere has a proud history of being a top-rated school in OCPS. The parents and staff strive to ensure that students are making substantial academic gains. Windermere is proud to be an “A” school based on the Florida State school rating system. 

Windermere Elementary is honored to have received all “A” ratings since the Florida State school rating system was established. The school consistently is in the top ten highest-achieving elementary schools in Orange County Public Schools.
